SHS School Placement; 151,266 candidates not placed – GES

The Ghana Education Service says 151,266 JHS qualified candidates could not be matched with any of their choice of school.  

The Ghana Education Service in a press release said that the 2020 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) into Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training Schools (TVETS), will go live on Sunday 28th February 2021.

The Service further added that out of the total number of 533,693 registered candidates only 494,530 candidates qualified to be placed.

The Country’s education management body also indicated in their statement that a total of 343,264 have automatically been placed in one of their choices.

However, 151,266 qualified candidates could not be matched with any of their choices.

All students who have not been placed are
therefore to do Self-Placement to select from available schools.

All unplaced students are to visit www.cssps.gov.gh do do their self placements.
