Minister for Trade and Industry-designate, Mr. Alan Kyerematen says the 1D1F initiative which has been led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry is one of the most revolutionary interventions to have been introduced in our country since independence.
Mr. Alan Kyerematen during his vetting at the Parliament’s Appointments Committee has commended government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for introducing the 1-District-1-Factory (1D1F) policy in the country.

Answering questions on 1D1F during his vetting, Mr. Kyerematen said, “I think it is appropriate for me to indicate that the 1D1F initiative which has been led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry is one of the most revolutionary interventions to have been introduced in our country since independence.”

He continued to say that, the 1D1F initiative has brought jobs to ordinary Ghanaians and led to a boost in the country’s economy. The nominee hinted that Ghana will enter a new trade agreement with the United Kingdom on 5th March, 2021.
