The former Deputy Information Minister under the National Democratic Congress in the John Dramani Mahama’s administration Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu has thrown a jab at the current economic management team of the country.
Speaking in an interview on asempa FM, Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye indicated that, the economy of the country is being mismanaged under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who is the head of the economic management team.

According to Mr. Kwakye, the vice President and the finance Minister have lost control of the economy and are only using the outbreak of the Covid-19 as an excuse for their mismanagement of the country’s economy.
Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye explained that even the projected economic Growth of 0.9% will not be met and that he suspects that the country’s economy will go into a resession by the end of this year. He further added that, there are other smaller and poorer African countries such as Guinea , Ethiopia, Cote dvoir and Rwanda that are growing more than Ghana’s projected 0.9% even in the face of Covid-19 and that Ghana’s GDP growing at 0.9% is due to mismanagement and not because of Covid-19.
