Sukladzi D/A Basic honoured for outstanding academic performances

The Sukladzi D/A Basic School, in the Lolito-Nyinuto Circuit of the South Tongu District of the Volta Region has been honoured for outstanding academic performances in the recent times.

The school was awarded by Destiny Fulfillers Time, a Non-governmental Organization that is determined in supporting education among others.

According to the Destiny Fulfillers Time, the school was awarded for its outstanding performances in the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The award came after the South Tongu District Education Directorate released it 2020 BECE Results Analysis featuring a total of eighty-six (86) Junior High Schools that took part in the Examination.

According to the available records, the Sukladzi Junior High School’s first appearance in BECE placed them at second position among 86 Junior High Schools (Private and Public Schools) in the South Tongu District. They had 100% in the 2020 BECE.

They received a customized citation with other accessories. Destiny Fulfillers Time also promised to donate undisclosed items to the school in the coming days.

The donation is to encourage performance and also appreciate the teachers who supported the student to come out with such an excellent performance.

Meanwhile, the citation presented to the school includes names of the teaching staff of the school.

SUKLADZI D/A BASIC SCHOOL

The Sukladzi D/A Primary School was established in 1993. The school is located in Sukladzi, a suburb of Sogakope, in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region. Sukladzi is in the Gonu Electoral Area. It shares boundary with Anloga District at Hadota and Agortoe.

The school started its Junior High School in 2017. The first batch of students sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination in 2020, under the headship of Mr. Mamattah H. Frank, and was ranked second in the 2020 District Based BECE Results Analysis.

Currently, the Junior High School has a total population of sixty-seven (67) while the primary has a population of one hundred and thirty-seven (137).

The head teacher of the school, Mr. Mamattah H. Frank has, on behalf of the School’s Management Committee, teachers and students expressed his appreciation to the Destiny Fulfillers Time for honouring their efforts.
