Team Lot Wins ESAG-UCC Presidential Election
Lot Jordan Abban and Pascaline Owusu Agyarko (Team Lot)
In a closely contested election held on July 30, 2024, the Education Students Association of Ghana (ESAG) at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has elected Lot Jordan Abban and Pascaline Owusu Agyarko, collectively known as Team Lot, as their new leadership.
Team Lot secured a decisive victory with 48.2% of the vote, surpassing their opponents Team Counselor, who garnered 40.6%, and Team Justine, who received 10.5%.

Lot Jordan Abban, the president-elect, brings significant leadership experience to his new role, having served as the President of the Protestant and Pentecostal Chaplaincy Committee Choir for the 2023/2024 academic year and currently holding the position of General Secretary for the same committee in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Pascaline Owusu Agyarko, who will serve as Vice President for ESAG-UCC, has a strong financial background as the Treasurer of the ESAG Women’s Commission.

In his victory speech, Lot Jordan Abban expressed his gratitude for the support from the education fraternity.
He dedicated his win to his father and mentor, Wode Maya, Ghana’s leading YouTuber, acknowledging his immense support and mentorship throughout the campaign.
The election marks a new chapter for ESAG-UCC as Team Lot prepares to lead with a vision of progress and unity for the education students at the university.
