The popular actress, artist and a movie character Fella Makafui has called on all Ewes from the Volta Region to register for the new voter’s ID card when the Electoral Commission of Ghana commences the voter’s registration exercise.
According Fella Makafui, in the beginning she was very reluctant and hesitant to register for the new voter’s ID card, but having considered many factors, she has resolved to register for the new ID card since it’s one of the basic right for every Ghanaian above 18years and of sound mind to own a voter ID card.
Fella has not reveal the reasons on which she has changed her mind to enrolled herself on the new voter’s register but called on every Voltarian to get him/herself registered when the Electoral Commission starts the registration exercise.
“At first I was hesitant to register for the new voter ID. But now, I have resolved to go for it. To prove I am a Ghanaian. I urge all EÊ‹es from Volta Region to do likewise.”
Fella Makafui also urged Ghanaians to strictly adhere to the Coronavirus Pandemic precautionary measures or protocols outlined by the Ghana Health Service and the World Health Organization (WHO). “But don’t 4get covid 19 protocols.” She urged.
In conclusion, has swiftly condemned the attack and intimidation on Voltarians following the heavy deployment of military personnel to the Ghana-Togo boarder at Aflao and it’s surrounding communities in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region. According to her, the lives of the Ewes also matter. “#EÊ‹eLivesMatter” She noted.
