Dr. (MRS) Hanna Louisa Bisiw-Kotei, the National Women’s Organizer, NDC congratulates Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman for being named again as the running mate to partner the Osagyefo of the time, John Dramani Mahama to rescue Ghana from perishing.

Speaking on the One-on-One Pae Mu Ka afternoon political talk show on Onua TV/FM on 7th March 2024, Dr. Bisiw-Kotei said women participating in politics is crucial for diverse representation because it brings different perspectives and experiences to decision-making processes. She said that inclusivity (involving women) enhances the quality of governance, reflects the needs of a broader population, and promotes equal rights.

Additionally, women’s involvement in politics helps challenge gender stereotypes and encourages future generations of women to engage in civic responsibilities. That is part of the reason why JDM has maintained as the running mate to save Ghana.

Dr. Hanna Bisiw-Kotei calls on women to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because the party knows that women lie in fostering equality. Adding, she stated that her arty, NDC provides opportunities, and ensures that women have the resources, education, and needed support to make independent choices and thrive in various aspects of life is their hallmark. Women are assured of getting all they need to propel the nation in the right direction.

The party’s women’s involvement aims to break down societal barriers and create a more inclusive and equitable environment for women, she stressed.

She also calls for the celebration of all women in the 2024 edition of the International Women’s Day. Women are the backbone of humanity.
