The people of Oti Region will shock Mahama in the December 2020 Polls – Ursula Owusu

The Communications Minister Hon. Ursala Owusu-Ekufu has announced the readiness of the people of Oti Region to vote massively for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the upcoming December 2020 polls. According to her, the people are certain to vote for President Nana Akufo-Addo, an outcome she said will shock former president John Dramani Mahama.

The Ablekuma West Constituency Member of Parliament who visited Tutukpene, Bonakye, Keri and Breweniase communities, all in the Nkwanta South Constituency of the Oti Region disclosed that, the people of Oti Region are from all indications ready to renew the mandate of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for another four years.

According to her, the people have also resolved to vote for Madam Sherifa Sekyere Tijani and give the Nkwanta South seat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the first time in Ghana’s history.

The Communications Minister also toured Dambai, capital of the Oti Region with the Member of Parliament for the Krachie East Constituency, Hon. Michael Gyato.
“The enthusiasm of the people in the constituency was amazing. They recounted the massive developmental projects ongoing in the constituency under the leadership of President Akufo Addo and Hon. Michael Gyato and have resolved to retain the seat for the NPP come 2020.” She told.

Madam Ursula in her statement said, Oti Regional Chairman, Mr. Evans Dapaah and his executives deserve huge commendation for their hard work. “I am confident that their efforts will pay off and the NPP will make an impressive showing in the Oti Region in the December elections.” She added.
