The President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo who is also the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party has said that the roads listed the National Democratic Congress’ green book is a fantasy.

It could be recalled that prior to the 7th December, 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, the then ruling National Democratic Congress printed a book famously known as the ‘green book’ in which they listed the projects they have undertaken.

However, the then opposition New Patriotic Party also indicated that the Green Book was full of Photoshoped images.

After almost four years after the New Patriotic Party assumed Office, the President Nana Akufo Addo still believed that most of the projects the Green Book never existed and that is why they had to pledge to the Ghanaian people to expand and improve the road network
while closing the missing links in the network.

The President Nana Akufo Addo in a statement said;

“We made a pledge to the Ghanaian people to expand and improve the road network while closing the missing links in the network. We had to make this pledge because we know that the so-called unprecedented infrastructure development of the Mahama administration was fantasy; existing in the Green Book and not on the ground”
