Posting the flyer of the memorial service to be held for George Floyd in Ghana, Hon Sam George said “as a people we are not angry enough with the wanton idiocy on display. If we were, those who control public resources would take us more seriously and not insult our intelligence and sensitivities like this.”

He explained that, many people such as the 7 Zongo boys, Ahmed Suale, Kintampo accident victims, 3 Takoradi girls, murdered Mankralo of Prampram and many more, who have lost their lives in equally tragic circumstances but did not even evoke a strain of sympathy from President Akufo- Addo and his cohort but a memorial service is now being held in honour of an unknown person.

Below are his exact words;

The problem of this Country is commoon
sense.
Those occupying the Flagstaff House today and their assigns simply lack it. I mean how in God’s name do we even think of something like this?
Well, as a people we are not angry enough
with the wanton idiocy on display. If we were, those who control public resources would take us more seriously and not insult our intelligence and sensitivities like this.
May the souls of the Zongo 7, Ahmed Suale, Kintampo accident victims, 3 Takoradi girls, murdered Mankralo of Prampram and many more, who have lost their lives in equally tragic circumstances but did not even evoke a strain of sympathy from President Akufo-
Addo and his cohort, continue to rest in
peace.
