The University of Cape Coast (UCC) Hospital, through its Directorate of Public Affairs, has officially announced the partial resumption of healthcare services, effective January 31, 2024.

The following units will be operational:

  1. Emergency
  2. Out-Patient Department (OPD)
  3. Antenatal Care
  4. Public Health (Child Welfare)
  5. Radiology (Scan and X-Ray)
  6. Laboratory
  7. Pharmacy

However, the students’ clinic will remain closed during this period. Students seeking medical care are advised to visit the main University Hospital for assistance. It is important to note that all wards, including the Maternity Ward, will remain closed until further notice.

The University of Cape Coast is committed to providing quality health care to its students and the community.

The University Hospital Management extends appreciation to students and the general public for their understanding during the temporary closure.

The partial resumption aims to ensure that essential healthcare services are provided while maintaining necessary precautions for the well-being of all.
