The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially opened a new Cash Office under the Directorate of Finance, situated on the ground floor of the Emmanuel Addow Obeng Building (Central Administration) at the University of Cape Coast.
This move, in contrast to its previous location at the South Campus, strategically situates the new Cash Office to enhance accessibility for staff, students, alumni, and the general public, within a conducive environment.
During the inauguration of this facility, Prof. Rosemond Boohene, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, emphasized that the new Cash Office’s banking hall is now equipped with advanced technology and digital tools to improve efficiency.
She expressed the hope that the opening of the Cash Office would strengthen the relationship between the University and its valued clients, urging Cash Office staff to deliver courteous and professional customer service to retain and gain the trust of clients.
Prof. Boohene highlighted that the comfortable environment within the Cash Office’s banking hall would offer customers a relaxed and secure space for their transactions.
Mrs. Elizabeth Obese, the Director of Finance, expressed her excitement about the successful relocation of the Cash Office and commended the dedicated and well-trained staff of the Directorate of Finance.
She encouraged Cash Office staff to continue providing high-quality services to the University community and the general public.
Mrs. Obese also expressed gratitude to the Directorate of Physical Development and Estate Management of UCC for their contributions.
