UEW announces extension of course registration for 2023/2024 First Semester

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has announced the extension of course registration for the First Semester in the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
The official announcement dated January 23 2024 was signed by Josephine Pokua Sarpong (General Secretary) and issued by Abbey Shadrach (Ag. P.R.O).
The announcement reads
COURSE REGISTRATION FOR 2023/2024 FIRST SEMESTER
Greetings from the Executive Committee of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC). All students are requested to take note of this important announcement.
Through this official communique, we wish to notify you that the registration portal is now accessible. The registration period extends until 2nd February 2024. Each student must take advantage of this opportunity and register promptly.
Students are required to pay at least fifty percent (50%) of their academic fees and 100 percent (100%) of their faculty charges to be eligible for registration for first-semester courses.
Any student who fails to register before the deadline will not be permitted to attend lectures, write mid-semester examinations and end-of-semester examinations.
Students are advised to take note of point number IV of Section 1.5.1 from the Students’ Handbook, which states that “any student who fails to renew his or her registration in any one academic semester shall be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn from the programme.”

NOTE: RESIT examination for the 2023/2024 academic year for students has been scheduled for the 5th-9th February 2024. Students are therefore informed to prepare adequately for it.
