UCC Admission Forms 

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2023/2024 academic year. The UCC admission form is available online, and registration will commence in April 2023, with a closing date scheduled between June 30th and July 31st, 2023.

Application requirement 

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have a minimum of credits (A1-C6 in WASSCE and A-D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science (for Science-related programs) or Social Studies (for non-Science-related programs) and three relevant elective subjects.

Cost of Application:

The cost of the University of Cape Coast 2023 e-voucher for Ghanaian applicants is GH¢220.00, while international applicants have a free e-voucher.

How to Apply:

1. Visit the UCC admission portal — www.ucc.edu.gh and click on the ‘Apply Button’ or go to https://apply.ucc.edu.gh to apply.
2. Purchase an e-voucher from any of the listed vendors and state whether you wish to apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
3. Login with the voucher serial and pin provided to you.
4. Select your mode of entry and entry type and click submit.
5. Fill the application form and attach your passport picture.
6. Click the SAVE AND CONTINUE LATER button to save the application for editing later, or SUBMIT AND PRINT to submit the form and generate a reference number.
7. Logout to leave the page.

Important Things to Note About UCC Admission 2023:

• Inconsistency in name or picture on registration slip is not acceptable to the university and may lead to disqualification of affected candidates.
• Candidates’ names on their ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level Certificates, and other registration documents must be the same.
• Candidates MUST be sixteen (16) years of age or above to be eligible for the exercise.
• Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided the result will be available at resumption.
• A change of program after the submission of application forms will NOT be allowed.
• Candidates must ensure that they register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
• Applicants are to ensure that application forms are posted early enough to be received before the deadline for submission as forms received after the deadline will not be processed.
• Registration is online, therefore, candidates are not expected to be present physically on the university campus but advised to register from any location.
• No additional documents will be accepted after submission of completed application forms.

Closing date:

The University of Cape Coast admission application closing date will be communicated to all candidates in their respective emails and phone numbers. Therefore, provide a valid email address and phone number while registering.

Note: If an applicant makes a false declaration or withholds relevant information, they may be refused admission, and if a student has enrolled, they will be withdrawn and may be prosecuted.
