ECG announces emergency maintenance on e-cash prepayment system

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced the maintenance of its e-cash prepayment system.

The company has informed the general public, especially its cherished customers residing in Hohoe that there will be emergency maintenance works on the E-Cash prepayment system (one of ECG’s prepayment systems) to enhance service delivery.

The exercise will start from Saturday, 6th – Sunday 7th January, 2024.

The announced time for the maintenance is 10:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Vital notice

In view of this, customers using the E-Cash Prepayment system will not be able to purchase prepaid credit during the period.

ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise.
