V/R: South Tongu NPP Parliamentary Candidate swerves NCCE debate

The South Tongu New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate Mr. Joseph Wisdom Ahadjie has allegedly swerved a debate organized for Parliamentary Candidates’ in the Constituency.
The debate which was scheduled by NCCE South Tongu and Inter-Party Dialogue Committee in Collaboration with GBC to take place at GP Park Sogakope between 10am and 12pm is expected to see in attendance the NPP Parliamentary Candidate Mr. Joseph Wisdom Ahadjie, the incumbent MP Hon. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome and Rev. Williams MacDonald Hoggar the Parliamentary Candidate for Ghana Union Movement (GUM).
The debate which officially commenced around 10:50am saw in attendance only the NDC and GUM Parliamentary Candidates. As of now, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate hasn’t arrived at the debate ground to tell Constituents reason for his absence.
Meanwhile, in introducing the Parliamentary Candidates for the debate, the organizers said, they are yet to receive an official information from the office of Mr. Joseph Wisdom Ahadjie on reasons he couldn’t avail himself for the debate.
Coverghana Media Network (Coverghana.com.gh) tried its best to reach Mr. Joseph Wisdom Ahadjie but he was unreachable. But, speaking to the personal aide of the South Tongu NPP Parliamentary Candidate Mr. Nicholas Wugah noted that, his boss Mr. Joseph Wisdom Ahadjie has received an emergency call from Ho in the early hours of today to address a pressing issue in the interest of the party.
Later, In the course of the debate, the South Tongu NCCE Director Mr. Seth Fiagorme told Coverghana.com.gh news team that, they were waiting for Mr. Joseph Wisdom Ahadjie to start the debate only to received a phone call few minutes to the commencement of the Programme from his outfit to attend an emergency meeting in Ho, hence cannot participate in the debate.
