Ghanaian award-winning highlife and afrobeat artiste Kuami Eugene, said he felt good when DopeNation left Lynx Entertainment, the record label that he (Kuami Eugene) and Kidi are also signed onto.
DopeNation which consists of twin brothers B2 known as Michael Boafo and Twist known as Tony Boafo, are professional producers and musicians as well. The music duo joined Lynx Entertainment in 2019 and exited in June 2020.
Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment explained that the music duo signed a short term contract with his record label and the contract has expired that’s why the group decided to exit from the label.
Kuami Eugene who spoke to a presenter of Joy FM denied reports that he has also left the record label.
“I’m with Lynx Entertainment, I’m not leaving now so those record labels thinking I’m out of Lynx so they are giving me messages that I should come so we talk business and all that should hold on for now because I’m still with Lynx Entertainment and my contract is not over, I’m not going anywhere.” He explained.
