Blessed GodsBrain Smart popularly called Captain Smart has revealed that the President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo led Government cannot afford to pay Teacher Trainees allowance anyone.
Speaking on his morning show on Onua Television, Captain Smart stated that the cancelation of the teacher trainees allowance by the previous John Dramani Mahama led Government was a good decision but the reintroduction of it by the current Government was not a good move.

Captain Smart explained that he was very happy when John Dramani Mahama cancelled the teacher trainees allowance and replaced it with the student loan scheme but the New Patriotic Party Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo led Government politicized it and and reintroduced it.
The journalist also questioned the reason behind the reintroduction of the teacher trainees and nurses trainees allowance as other students pursuing courses such as medicine and nursing in Universities are not paid any allowance.
