Video: Nana Akufo Addo’s Gov’t has built more factories than Kwame Nkrumah did – Mr. Lawrence Agyinsam
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Import Bank Lawrence Agyinsam has said that the Nana Akufo Addo led Government have established many factories than the Government of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Speaking in an interview on Ekosisen, Mr Lawrence Agyinsam explained that, President Nana Akufo Addo needs to be applauded because he has been able to roll out the one district one factory policy within the first three years of his Government.
The Exim bank CEO explained that, even the first President of Ghana Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who is always remembered for building of factories was able to build only forty nine (49) factories across the country but President Nana Akufo Addo has rolled out the process to build two hundred and thirty two factories across the country.
Mr. Lawrence Agyinsam said;
“As at November 2019, the Ekumfi Juice factory was operational and it is unpresidented and it is something that we need to applaud the President and the country. Even Kwame Nkrumah of all people in his time established 49 factories and in the four years of Nana Akufo Addo he has given the strategic vision to do this and people have accepted, and they are doing it and we Continue doing it, Ghana will move forward.”
