The Inter Party Resistance Against New Voters register has held a press conference earlier today reacting to the Supreme Court’s judgment on the case brought against the Electoral Commission of Ghana by the opposition National Democratic Congress.
In the Supreme Court’s judgment, the court gave the Electoral Commission the greenlight to compile it’s intended new voter’s register based on the Constitutional Instrument 126 which did not go down well with the Inter-Party Resistance Against New Voter’s register of which the National Democratic Congress is a member.

We do not have a referee in this year’s elections, we do not have an independent security services in this election, We do not have a fair judicial system in this election. We shall therefore embark on this all important mission with our own referee, we shall do so with our own security and with our own judiciary.
