Volta FA announce activity plans for the 2022/2023 league season

As done officially by Football Associations ahead of every new season, the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) through their Communications Department have also announced their activity plans for the 2022/2023 League season.

The VRFA has set 22nd December 2022 for its Ordinary Congress scheduled to be held at the Mawuli Senior High School Auditorium. Following the Congress, the 2022/23 Division Two League season will kick start on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Again, it should be noted that The Women’s Division One League will take off from February 18, 2023 alongside the Third Division and Colts League whiles the second edition of the Regional FA Cup begins February 11, 2023.

The seasons activities include a Regional Beach Soccer League which is scheduled for a January 7, 2023. The VRFA will in due time release the full fixture and dates for Match Days in the coming days.

Ahead of activities for the season, the RFA scheduled to meet all Division Two Clubs in the region on the 8th December, 2022. This meeting intends to offer the clubs the platform to discuss challenges and prospects of the past season and also to offer the clubs the opportunity recommend their expectations on the way forward for the development of football in the Volta and Oti Regions.

The Daniel Agbogah led ExCo are of the view that development of football in the regions is the responsibility of all stakeholders and the Executive Council intends to make clubs realize their relevance in the cause of fixing the challenges facing football development in the two regions.

The VRFA encourages all stakeholders to take note of the dates and act accordingly.
