Volta-Oti Zonal Championship Semi-finals Results of NSMQ 2022
The results for the Volta-Oti Championship Semi-finals of the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz competition has been released.
The competition started from the Regional Qualifiers stage to Zonal Championship, Championship Semi-finals and finally the Championship Final.
However, the Zonal Championship Semi-finals took place in their regional capital, Ho among six (6) schools that qualified from the Zonal Championship stage. It means the six (6) schools formed two (2) separate contests.
The Championship Semi-finals and Final both was battled on the same day, Saturday May 21, 2022.
Below are the results from the Championship Semi-finals.
SEMI-FINAL 1
Bishop Herman College: 44 – Winner
St. Paul’s SHS: 25
Anlo SHS: 17
SEMI-FINAL 2
Sonrise Christian High School: 50. – Winner
Mawuli School: 26
Awudome SHS: 23
At the end of the much anticipated results from the tough schools in the region, the competition ended successfully.
Bishop Herman College, Sonrise Christian High School qualified from their competition for the finals but the third school, Mawuli School joined them based on the merit of holding the next highest points in the Semi-finals hence, picking a slot to join the originally qualified schools.
