Hohoe Constituency in the Volta Region is gearing up to host the 44th annual June 4th Celebration, a significant event on the NDC’s calendar. The program, which marks Ghana’s 1979 Revolution and aims to promote the values of probity and accountability, will commence on Saturday, June 3rd.
The festivities will kick off with a health walk in the morning, followed by a thought-provoking public lecture at 2:00pm held at the St. Francis College of Education (FRANCO) campuses. The lecture will provide valuable insights into the theme of this year’s celebration: “Saving Our Democracy: the Spirit of the June 4th.”
The commemorative event will culminate on Sunday morning at 8 am with a wreath-laying ceremony at the E.P park in Hohoe, honoring the memory of the revolution’s heroes.
