WASSCE 2020: Bright Academy exams centre closed; candidates moved to Ofori Panin SHS
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has shutdown the Examination Centre at Bright Academy for the ongoing West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Following the closure of examination Centre at Bright academy, a private school of Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region, the Ghana Education Service has announced that, all 2020 WASSCE candidates of the school have been moved to Ofori Panin Senior High School to write the rest of their exit papers.

In press statement issued by the Director-General of GES Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, a notice has also been serves to the affected final year students that, their activities are expected to conform to the rules and regulations of the school.
GES further cautioned students to be law abiding since any acts of indiscipline will not be countenanced.
These measures are necessary to ensure that students appreciate the
significance of good conduct and discipline in their actions.
This decision was arrived at following reports on some students of Bright Senior High School at Kukurantumi attacked invigilators and journalist after their Integrated Science papers on Monday, 3rd July, 2020. Reports available indicated that, the students attacked the people because of strict supervision or invigilation during the examination.
