We have a lot to do for 2024 victory – Mahama to NDC national executives

Mr. John Dramani Mahama
John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called upon the party’s national executives to exert relentless efforts in secure victory for the NDC in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Mahama’s plea underscores the significance he places on the collective dedication and hard work of the party’s leadership in achieving success in the electoral contest, emphasizing the need for a united and committed front to navigate the challenges and secure a favorable outcome in the political landscape.
In acknowledging the one-year milestone of the party’s national leadership, the ex-president praised their dedication to the party’s progress and called for heightened commitment to ensure the defeat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 elections.
He also lauded the leadership’s commitment during the event held on Sunday, December 17, 2023, to his X handle. The NDC conducted the election of new national leaders on December 17, 2022, during its 10th National Delegates Congress.
Themed ‘Rallying for Victory 2024,’ the congress featured 63 candidates vying for 11 positions, with approximately 8,100 out of 9,500 delegates participating.
Following the congress, Johnson Aseidu Nketiah, the party’s then General Secretary, was elected as National Chairman. Fifi Kwetey, a former Propaganda Secretary of the NDC, assumed Aseidu Nketiah’s former position as General Secretary.
Below is Mahama’s Tweet.
My dear NDC national executives, it’s your first anniversary in office, and I want to congratulate you for your hard work, dedication and commitment.
This is commendable. Let’s continue to work tirelessly for victory in the 2024 elections.
