Delay reacts to Black Stars new signings saying what happens to the players who qualified us to the World Cup?
A couple of dual citizen Ghanaian footballers have been on the radar of the Ghana Football Association since Ghana qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Even though some have refused to switch their nationality to represent the nation, others have heeded to the calls to join the Black Stars.
So far, four players of various nationalities have agreed to switch to play for the Black Stars. These players are;
1. Tariq Lamptey
2. Mohammed Salisu
3. Inaki Williams
4. Stephen Ambrosius
These new arrivals have sparked reactions from some Ghanaians who believe there is lack of fairness if some people suffer to qualify the country to the World Cup and they are dropped for others to come and play at the World Cup.
Reacting to the announcement of one Stephen Ambrosius by the GFA, the media personality inquired about the fate of those who qualified the country to the World Cup.
“What happens to the players who fought for the nation at the qualifiers,” she tweeted
After Iñaki Williams (28) joined the national team of Ghana, the following players will choose to play for them:
Tariq Lamptey (21)
Eddie Nketiah (23)
Callum Hudson-Odoi (21)
Nico Williams (19)
