The founder of the Danquah Institute, lawyer Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has joined the LGBTQI debate.
LGBTQI issues have been trending in the Ghanaian social space after an office was opened by the group in the Capital City of Ghana—Accra.
Following the opening of the office, some Ghanaians have been advocating for the office to be closed down whiles other citizens support the move.
Contributing to the debate, Lawyer Gabby Otchere-Darko who is a leading member of the New Patriotic Party has said that you don’t have to be pro-g¶y to appreciate the situation of g¶ys.
In a tweet, Gabby Otchere-Darko said;
You don’t have to be pro-g¶y to appreciate their situation. You only have to be human. Let us be careful and not generate an intense hate campaign against homOs*xuals. You can speak for the law and ‘culture’ minus hate. Hate su*ks
