Zimbabwe launches 5G network across the country

A southern Africa country, Zimbabwe has launched the fifth generation technology standard for broadband cellular networks popularly called 5G.

The President of the country, Emmerson Mnangagwa earlier today launched the third phase of the building of 300 new mobile base stations across the country to enable fourth and fifth generation technology standard for broadband cellular networks across the country.

During the launch, President Emmerson Mnangagwa stated that the extension of 4G/5G in the country will create thousands of jobs for citizens.
