Speaking to Coverghanagh.com.gh Volta Regional Correspondence, Tabitha Kugbonu, Hon. Emmanuel Louis Agama, District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area who lead the disbursement of the fund said, initially the Disability Common Fund was two percent (2%) but when President Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) came to power, they have increased the Disability Common Fund to three percent (3%) and this shows how dear Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are to the President and the party.

According to the DCE, this is the third time the disbursement is done within the year and even when he resumed office, he has never neglected Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) unlike other districts that releasing of funds to PWDs becomes a major problem.

He advised the beneficiaries not to misuse the cash and equipments given to them and expect more from the government if only they will retain the seat come December 7th, 2020.
