2020 Census: Applicants unable to update applications due to non-functioning website

Information picked by Coverghana.com revealed that, the Ghana Statistical Service (Census 2020) has sent email to it’s applicants to change their password and update their data for final list, but some applicants are complaining that when they open the site to validate their image becomes problem let alone to update other data.

According to the affected individuals, some even couldn’t change their passwords. “We don’t know whether there is a problem with their site or it’s network problem. Neither of the contacts they provided was going through for us to find out from them the problem let alone do they reply our emails sent them. How then are we going to work with them if we aren’t able to apply?” They explained with worry.

Below was the message sent by GSS (Census 2020), enumerators team.

2020 Population and Housing Census Field Officers Application Update.

Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) acknowledges your application as a Field Officer in the impending 2020 Population and Housing Census (PHC). You are, however, required to create a new password and login to the application portal and make sure all the mandatory fields are completed by updating your application information for the final stage of shortlisting qualified applicants

INSTRUCTIONS

Below were the instruction given out for the generation of the password.

Click the Create Password button below after which a prompt screen appears for you to enter a new password and confirm the password. After confirming your password, you will be redirected to the login page. At the login page, provide your Username and Password and click the Login button to access your portal.

Username: [Your email address of the application]
Password: [The new password created]

Once you are in the portal, perform the following;
1. Update every information required. For example, Region of residence, District, City/Town, Suburb, preferred choice of District and locality, upload passport picture of not older than three (3) months and others. Failing to do this will make your application incomplete.
2.After updating the required information, review and ensure the information has reflected.
3. Finally, click the Confirm button to submit your updated information and wait patiently for your confirmation.
