Ablakwa gives full scholarship to KNUST Aerospace Engineering student; appoints her as Engineering Ambassador

The Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has given a full scholarship scheme to an Aerospace Engineering student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to pursue her first Degree.

Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa after announcing the scholarship scheme also said, his office has appointed Alice Dziwornu as an Engineering Ambassador to promote and demystify the study of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) amongst girls in his beloved North Tongu Constituency.

Alice Dziwornu is one of only six (6) ladies in a first-year class of eighty-five (85) pursuing Aerospace Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The Lawmaker took the opportunity to assure the family of Alice Dziwornu that, she will remain a priority on his scholarship scheme until graduation. The MP also donated a laptop to support the academic work of the young erospace Engineering student.

“Being the best BECE and WASSCE Candidate in her cohort, her inspiring story which would be fully told someday should serve as a motivation to all young ladies with great dreams. I have no doubt she will be a great ambassador and a worthy role model.” Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said.
