AFCON2021: Parliament sets date to investigate Black Stars abysmal performances

The Parliament of Ghana is set to conduct a formal investigation into the performance of the Black Stars during the African Cup of Nations (AFCON2021) held at Cameroon.

The Parliamentary Committee is said to commence the investigation on February 16, through to February 18, 2022.

According to sources, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Sports Authority and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have all been invited.

The investigation team, which would be using the East Wing Conference Room – Job 600, would have the captain of the Black Stars, Andre Dede Ayew appearing before it.

The Black Stars of Ghana, was eliminated at the end of the group stage after coming fourth in their Group C with just a point.
