Agave Rural Bank PLC has donated 150 pieces of mono desks to the Dabala E.P. Primary and Junior High School ‘B’ on the first day of reopening for the third term of the 2022 academic year on the 13th of September 2022.
This donation was a result of a request from the school authorities which indicated that attendance at school continues to decrease on a daily basis because of the lack of furniture in the classrooms from JHS 1 to JHS 3.
The Board of Directors of Agave Rural Bank, therefore, approved GH¢23,670.00 for 150 (One Hundred and Fifty) mono desks to be procured as part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility to fill the furniture gap in the school.

The South Tongu Director of Education, Mrs, Celestine S. A. Korsi-Agordo expressed her profound gratitude to Agave Rural Bank for the donation and also took the opportunity to advise the students to take good care of the furniture so that like Oliver Twist, the school authorities can ask for more to be added.
Assurance from Headteacher
The Headteacher, Mr. Dominic Avadzi, on his part recounted the difficulties they went through during the period the furniture was not available for the pupils to use. He was full of praise for Agave Rural Bank and promised to put the furniture to good use and its regular maintenance in order to keep it looking good all the time.
The School Management Committee (SMC) Chairman, Mr. Daniel Siame, encouraged the teachers to do business with the bank so that the bank will continue to support the school in diverse ways.
The CEO of Agave Rural Bank, Mr. Gideon K. Odei on behalf of the Board of Directors and Management, reiterated the commitment of the bank to supporting the communities in which we operate.
He assured the gathering that AgRB is always responsive to the needs of the communities in which we operate and ready to lend a supporting hand.
