The Fievie State on 16th September, 2022, presented 150 wooden dual desks to the Head teachers of Fievie E/P Primary and Fievie D/A Junior High School through the South Tongu District Director of Education, Mrs. Celestine S. A. Korsi-Agordo.
In her speech, Mama Ku-Agbi III who presented the desks on behalf of the Fievie State admonished the learners, especially the females to aspire to get to where the current South Tongu District Director of Education has reached in education or even beyond.
In her appreciation remarks during the presentation ceremony, the District Director of Education (DDE) on behalf of Management of the Directorate of Education thanked the Fievie State for donating the furniture to the beneficiary schools.
The District Director of Education appealed for same support for other schools in the district from NGOs and capable individuals to improve education in the district.
Mrs. Celestine S. A. Korsi-Agordo in concluding her remarks advised the teachers and learners of the beneficiary schools to take good care of the new desks and existing ones
