Agyapa deal: European Union now ranks Ghana as a high risk third country – ASEPA

Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) is alleging that, the Republic of Ghana is ranked a high risk country in Africa.

In a statement published by the Executive Director of ASEPA Mr. Mensah Thompson said, banks have begin sending SMS alert to customers to boost their KYC information.

According to ASEPA, the controversial Agyapa Mineral Royalty Agreement has put Ghana on the same high risk country as war-torn Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen.

Folks if you are bank customer, I am sure you have received an SMS from your bank informing you to boost your KYC informati on because the European Union has now ranked Ghana a high risk third Country.

Folks what this means is that our beloved Country has now been put on the same level as  war-torn Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen.

Folks this is how far Agyapa has brought us, our International Money Laundering Alert has risen and in accordance with Basel II and III regulations Ghana has now been declared as a high risk third Country.
