Sammy Gyamfi says he will sue Government on Monday over the Controversial Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal.

The National Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress, lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has indicated that he will sue the Government of Ghana over the Agyapa Mineral Royalties agreement.

Speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on Thursday 12th November, 2020, Sammy Gyamfi indicated the Agyapa deal is a serious issue and that they’ll test it in court and not allow the special Prosecutor to reduce it to a report, articles and needles banters.

Sammy Gyamfi added that, the state paid data bank, Gabby Otchere-Darko and the transaction advisors in the Agyapa Mineral Royalties to help the country raise money and that now that the agreement has been withdrawn, they must be made to refund the monies they were paid.

The NDC national Communications Officer Said;

“This is a very serious matter that cannot be left to the special Prosecutor alone to pursue, I latest by Monday or Tuesday will pursue this matter in court for declaratory reliefs that that agreement that has been withdrawn is illegal and for that matter payments made under some should be refunded back to the State.

We will test this matter in court, we will not allow the special Prosecutor to reduce it to a report, Articles and needles banters and so on because, what have we paid data bank, Gabby Otchere-Darko and the transaction advisors for, for a loan we never went for. We paid them to help us raise money and now we have withdrawn they must refund the monies they were paid.”
