“Don’t Buy Shares in Agyapa Mineral Royalties, we won’t Honour it when we come to Power” – Sammy Gyamfi

The National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has cautioned investors not to buy shares of the Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal.

Speaking during an interview on Accra Based Twi speaking Radio Station, Asempa FM, Sammy Gyamfi indicated that the next National Democratic Congress Government under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama will terminate the Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal.

Sammy Gyamfi explained that, the current Government did not follow the procurement procedure whiles going about the Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal such as appointing lawyers who worked on the deal and appointing a Chief Executive Officer for the Agyapa Mineral Royalties company and because of that, the next NDC Government will not honour the agreement.

Speaking during the interview, Sammy Gyamfi said;

“Like President John Mahama has put on public record, the next National Democratic Congress Government will not honour this agreement. I am telling you, Agyapa investors, when they list it don’t buy it, you’ll only waste or throw away your money because President Mahama’s Government will not honour it, you are stealing from us, don’t buy it if you’re an investors, that money is going to President Akufo Addo and his families.”
