The Minister for Information Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah says, the governing New Patriotic Party of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo remains focused and resolute in their fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking at a ceremony following President Akufo-Addo’s directive to open the Kotoka International Airport on 1st September, 2020, the Information Minister said, they have managed the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana better than anyone could imagine.

Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah was joined by the Ghana Health Service and the Ghana Airport Company at a briefing with an outline of the safety protocols in place to protect Ghana.
The Minister also took the opportunity to address the diplomatic relationship with Nigeria which attracted some attention over the weekend.
Speaking further, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah noted that, Ghana values the historic diplomatic relationship that has existed between Ghana and Nigeria and have proceeded to engage the Federal Government with the view to resolving comprehensively and exhaustively any matters that have the potential to soar this historic diplomatic relationship.
