North Tongu DCE donates sewing machines and cash to apprentices and Association of Garment Makers
The District Chief Executive of the North Tongu District Assembly Mr. Richard Collins Arku has donated eleven (11) sewing machines to apprentices of Ghana National Association of Garment Makers, Aveyime-Battor Branch who requested for help.
The DCE, who is also the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for the North Tongu Constituency, in addition, gave an amount of one thousand two hundred Ghana cedis (GH¢1,200.00) to the National Association of Garment Makers, Aveyime-Battor Branch.

The donations were made at the 29th impressive graduation ceremony of the Ghana National Association of Garment Makers, Aveyime-Battor Branch held on Saturday, 14th November, 2020 in Battor.
The ceremony which was held for Zone 1 graduads in Battor saw a total of twenty-eight (28) apprentices graduated with a colourful ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour, the District Chief Executive Mr. Collins Richard Arku touted the achievements of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) government and the need to vote massively for the party.
He told the gathering that, he and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo are first on both Parliamentary and Presidential ballots respectively.

He also advised on the need to observe the COVID-19 protocols at all times to help protect the existing population of the country.

According to the North Tongu Communications Team of the New Patriotic Party, this kind gesture from Mr. Collins Richard Arku has never happened in North Tongu Constituency hence the need to vote for him in the December 2020 Polls as a Member of Parliament for the Constituency.
