Social Media critic and writer, Albert Nat Hyde also known as Bongo Ideas goes hard on the President of the Republic, H.E Akufo-Addo, saying the President is allegedly practicing Bigotry and has therefore surrounded himself with only people from Asante and Akyem.
According to Albert Hyde, the President has only appointed Akyems and Asantes to all important places of power especially the ministries and agencies in his government at the neglect of all other tribes in the party such as Ewes, Gas and Fantes.
He further stated the President’s appointment of such people to these offices was solely based on tribe rather than competence.
In his statement, Bongo Ideas said “ since Nana Addo took over, almost all ministries, agencies, etc are headed by Ashantis and Akyems. The Akotos, Boadus, and Oseis, have taken over based on tribe and not competence.”
Social media users have as usual reacted to this statement from Bongo Ideas. Whilst some people seem to agree with him, others are calling him out for his negative comments.
