Alec Kann is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati. Kann attended Lakeside High School in DeKalb County, Georgia, where he played soccer for three years, culminating as a senior on the AAAA state championship team (20-1-1 record). Kann attended Furman University for four years from 2008 and 2011.
Kann joined the Charleston Battery of the USL Pro League on March 23, 2012. He was with the club for the full 2012 season but did not play for the first team.
Kann joined the MLS team Chicago Fire on March 19, 2013. In June 2014, he was loaned to USL Pro team Charlotte Eagles, then in March 2015, he was loaned to United Soccer League affiliate club Saint Louis FC.
