The Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability, ASEPA drags Bono East Regional Ministers to CID over leaked tape on violence and registration of minors.

The Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability, ASEPA has today dragged the two Bono East Regional Ministers Hon. Kofi Amoakohene and his Deputy to the Criminal Investigative Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service over a leaked tape attributed to both men.

In the tape, the two men are heard discussing how to cause violence and mayhem and how to register a pool of minors in the ongoing voters registration exercise among other illegal activities.

The Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability, ASEPA has handed over the tape to the CID for onward investigations.

In a press statement issued by the Executive Director of ASEPA Mensah Thompson, they expect the Police to accord those leaked tapes with the same level of seriousness it has accorded other Leaked tapes involving Political actors currently being prosecuted in our Courts.
