Australia Awards Scholarships: Applications are now open -Apply
According to a letter signed by Berenice Owen-Jones, Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, Ghana is eligible for the 2025 Australia Awards Scholarships.
Other African countries eligible for the awards are Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
The Australia Awards Scholarships are prestigious international awards offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders in developing countries. Through study and research, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring people-to-people links with Australia.
Application: Start date and deadline
The call for applications for Australia Awards Scholarships (Masters level) opened on 1 February 2024 and will close on 30 April 2024. Successful applicants will commence their studies in Australia in 2025.
Australia Awards Scholarship: Sectors opened for Application
The program will accept applications from eligible candidates wanting to study a Masters Degree in the following sectors:
- Agriculture and food security
- Climate change
- Foreign policy and international security
- Gender, disability and social inclusion
- Mining and energy.
