Barikisu Suleiman: Championing Holistic Education and Community Growth 

Madam Barikisu Suleiman is a facilitator at Answaru Deen Islamic Basic School in the Okaikwei North District, Greater Accra Region. She is known for championing holistic education and community growth.

Barikisu is the educational egalitarian who is also a promoter of human rights, child protection, and youth development in its entirety.

Barikisu is a beacon of innovation in teaching. She seamlessly integrates play-based approaches, using modified indigenous games like hopscotch and ludo. Additionally, she harnesses the power of music, guiding her students to compose songs based on learned concepts.

Her innovative teaching methods have not gone unnoticed; she was recognised as the Best Primary Teacher by the Greater Accra Islamic Education Unit and clinched the top spot in the Primary Category of the Best Teacher and Worker Award by the Okaikoi Municipal Education Directorate.

Beyond her classroom, Barikisu is deeply involved in community upliftment. She has been pivotal in supporting Child and Youth Development in her community, dedicating her time to enlighten young minds.
