Bishop Goldsmith and Kairos Rhema Foundation Extend Support to Bereaved Family of Murdered Farmer

Bishop Victor Goldsmith and the Kairos Rhema Foundation, in collaboration with local and international sympathizers, have generously donated essential household items and financial assistance to the family of the late Mr. Delali Kudzo Adovor, a 52-year-old farmer who was tragically murdered on his farm in Kpale Xorse, Volta Region.

Mr. Adovor, a devoted friend and ardent follower of Bishop Goldsmith, went missing on Monday after leaving for his farm. His wife, who had sent him food, raised an alarm when she couldn’t locate him, prompting a search effort that continued into the night.

Despite initial futile efforts, devoted youths from the Kpale Xorse, Bame, Kpale, Etordome and Goviefe persisted in their search, ultimately discovering his lifeless body, which had been brutally mutilated. The body is currently in police custody, pending autopsy and further investigation.

Mr. Adovor’s passing has left his family in a state of shock and grief, particularly his wife and young children, who have lost their primary caregiver and sole breadwinner. The family’s life has been significantly impacted, creating a void that may take time to heal.

The donated items include rice, oil, sugar, tin tomatoes, and cash assistance, aimed at providing temporary relief to the family during this difficult time. This act of kindness demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to caring for those in need, reflecting the values of compassion, empathy, and community support that are essential in times of crisis.
