Brainiac Mawuli SHS past student (2022) needs financial support totally GH¢14,686 for his education
Mr. Adih Ebenezer Kudadze Kwame, one of the teachers of Clinton Kpofianu has recounted how brilliant his student was under his care back in school and called for financial support for his tertiary education.
Clinton Kpofianu hails from Ehie in the Volta Region. He was admitted to study Science at Mawuli SHS, Ho and completed it in 2022 with 5 “A”s and 3
“B2″s.
Unfortunately, his only hope (father) to push him to climb the academic ladder passed away the same year he completed SHS.
Clinton has been offered admission this academic year, 2023/2024 to read Medicine at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) and needs support to further his education.
Clinton has been given an extended date due to negotiation to make the payment. The extended deadline is tomorrow, Monday 15th January 2024.

Out of my 17 years of being a professional teacher, #CLINTON KPOFIANU has been by far the most brilliant student I have taught. His brilliance paved the way for him straight into the NMSQ team when he entered #MAWULI SHS in HO to read Science. Coming from a poor background in #Ehie, this feat could only be achieved by dint of hard work.
CLINTON completed SHS in 2022 and aced the WASSCE beautifully. But unfortunately, his father who was his only hope passed on later that same year.
My release to Ho further strengthened our bond from a teacher-student to a father-and-son relationship.
His dream of becoming a medical #DOCTOR is on the verge of getting shattered even before its commencement.
His call on Friday morning to inform me of his admission into #UHAS to read medicine as well as his concluding statement, ” Sir, I may not be able to report to school. The man who promised helping said he wouldn’t be able to do it”, got me so disturbed.
This was his second attempt and seeing the opportunity drift and a beautiful dream shattered weighs so heavily on my heart and is my main motivation to post it here with the hope of courting your compassion to help by pooling our little resources together to make his dream see the light of day.
The fear of not being able to achieve the needed target and also leaving the lad exposed by the end of the day made me a little hesitant but I saw Carolle Selasi Henyo do it and I’m encouraged. We need a total of Ghc14,686.54 to cater for both fees and the hostel.
And time is ticking fast against us. We were supposed to make the payment that same Friday that we had the letter of admission but we called and negotiated and were given up to Monday 15th January 2024 that’s tomorrow.
