Captain Smart granted GH¢100K bail after being arraigned in Court

The Ghana Police Service has granted Captain Smart a bail in the sum of Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵100,000.00) with one surety to be justified after being arraigned in Court.
In an update issued by the Police Administration on Captain Smart’s Arrest said, today, Thursday, December 9, 2021, Captain Smart has been arraigned at Circuit Court 7.

According to the Police, he pleaded not guilty to the charge of offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace under Section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29).
The court admitted him to bail in the sum of Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 100,000.00) with one surety to be justified.
Captain Smart gets a new appointment few hours after his suspension
The case has been adjourned to January 11, 2022. Meanwhile, he is to report to the Police every Tuesday and Friday.
