The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey has listed some requirements and guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19 during the December festivities.

Speaking in an interview monitored by coverghana, the deputy minister put out a list of measures the Government intends to implement to control the virus from spreading as many shows and events are organized during the season.

He explained that eventhough they want people to go and have fun, they do not want them to go and back with the Covid-19 virus.

“Vaccination cards will be required to enter, you must show that you have been vaccinated to be able to enter and age five (5) and above would be required to wear a mask.” – Mark Okraku Mantey said.

The Deputy Minister also further added that people would be allowed to remov their masks for special activities which involves eating and drinking.
