The 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region has praised their Member of Parliament Mr. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome for supporting them with examination materials.
The final year students of some selected Junior High Schools in the South Tongu District have expressed their profound gratitude to the Lawmaker for his continued support towards quality education especially, his annual distribution of Mathematical sets.
On Monday, 8th November, 2021, the Member of Parliament has visited some selected Junior High Schools and presented the examination materials to the students ahead of the final year examination scheduled to commence on Monday, 15th November, 2021.

Some of the schools he visited were, Sokpoe D/A Junior High School, Tefle Presbyterian church Ghana, (PCG) Junior High School, Sogakope Junior High School “B”, Sogasco JHS, Dabala Junction R/C Junior High School and Dabala E.P Junior High School.
The students upon receiving the materials has praised the MP for his kind gestures, benevolence and support in ensuring that, they are equipped with the necessary examination materials for the upcoming BECE.
Earlier, the Member of Parliament has presented a total of two thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine (2,999) mathematical sets to the South Tongu District Education Directorate to be distributed to all 2021 BECE candidates in the area.

The customized mathematical sets distributed by the MP form part of the earlier materials handed over to the Education Directorate.
In addressing the students, Mr. Woyome encouraged the students to make good use of the resources spent on them in order to make their parents, teachers, guardians, the education directorate, district director and himself proud in this year’s examination.
The MP also appealed to the students to learn hard so as to score 100% mark for their schools. He used the opportunity and admonished the students not to engage themselves in examination malpractices.

The District Director of Education, Evelyn Araba Zentey (Ms.), has, on behalf of her staff, students and the community extend their appreciation to the MP and individuals who supported him for carrying out a successful project. She also used the opportunity to ask for more supports in the Sector.
The MP was accompanied by some party executive of NDC and Staff of South Tongu GES.
