Dismissed head coach of the Ghana Black Stars, coach C.K Akonnor has finally spoken on his dismissal by the Ghana Football Association, GFA.

If could recalled that coach C. K Akonnor and his two assistants were relieved of their post as head coach and deputies of the Ghana National football team by the Ghana Football Association.

Following his dismissal, Coach C. K Akonnor has spoken for the first time. In a tweet, Mr Akonnor expressed his gratitude to the President of the country, the Sports Ministry, the Ghana Football Association and his former boss Kwesi Appiah for giving him the opportunity to serve Ghana .

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has quickly formed a three (3) Member Committee made up of Vice President Mark Addo, Upper East Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Salifu Zida and Dr. Randy Abbey to find a new Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the Black Stars within the next 72 hours.
